Lalocura Entertainment DJ/Karaoke Service started way back in 1997 as primarily a Karaoke Service during what is known as the birth of commercialized karaoke. Bars and clubs would hire companies like this to have people sing on special discs, which back then were a huge laser disc, that basically had a full rendition of popular songs without the lead vocals. Karaoke became a cult hit and the bars and clubs that offered karaoke would be packed outside the door just trying to get in to be a part of the action.

Eventually people wanted to bring that party experience home with them, so they started asking us to come to their house, or a party hall so they can have their own little karaoke party, that was the easy part. The hard part came when we realized that these same people didn't want to have just karaoke, but basically a full DJ party as well, so the whole DJ part of the business was born out of necessity. Business started booming  and next thing you know a hobby that was basically a way of making some extra cash on the side and having a night out basically on a bar or club turned into an actual business that needed more attention to detail.

People would approach us to do everything at that point from simple Birthday Parties, to complex Weddings, and they didn't care about anything else but they just wanted us, cause we were the cool karaoke hosts, with witty remarks and the weavers of that fun atmosphere that they see every time they go out to see our show. All of a sudden we became great at throwing all kinds of parties that involved all kinds of danceable music to party with. Everything from the great stuff from the 40's like Glen Miller and Fred Astaire to the 50's with the birth of Rock n' Roll, then it moves into the 60's with all the great Motown. Of course no party is complete without some 70's Disco and Funk, add a little bit of the Rock from that era and that puts us in the 80's where we love to delve into and just throw a party. Throw the 90's to current in the mix an wala you now have a complete business for all your entertainment needs.
